Students will learn basic twining as well as alternating color design and overlay techniques as they weave an open-face cedar bark basket. Churchill has created cedar bark and spruce root pieces for museums and collections across the globe, and has shared her knowledge with weavers of all ages in Ketchikan and communities throughout the world for over twenty years.

This class is a prerequisite for all upper level weaving classes.
