Visit the museum today, or any day through Saturday, April 3 during our open hours to take on our I-Spy style Salmon Egg Hunt! Admission is always free to locals!
"Easter egg" is a term for a hidden message, image, or novelty in a video game, software program, or other usually electronic medium. The term was coined in 1979 by a Director of Software Development at Atari, Steve Wright. Designers add Easter eggs for a unique, fun, and secret feature for viewers to discover and enjoy.
We invite you and your family and friends to search for Easter (salmon) eggs at the Tongass Historical Museum! Easter (salmon) eggs will be hidden throughout the museum's exhibits with varying degrees of difficulty. (Yep, some may even be transparent... good luck!)
The hunt is open March 13 – April 3, 1-5:00 PM Tuesday – Saturday or by appointment.
This is an ALL AGE, FREE event!
