Absentee By-Mail Voting

If you will be out of town during the election or prefer the convenience of voting from home, you may apply for a ballot to be mailed to you by filing an Absentee Ballot Application. 

City residents must apply separately for a Borough ballot, information can be found at: https://www.kgbak.us/1040/Early-and-Absentee-Voting

Absentee By-mail

• Fill out completely and return by-mail application to the City Clerk's office  Absentee By- Mail Application
• By-mail applications must be received not later than seven (7) days prior to the election.
• When you receive your ballot, read instructions carefully and sign. You must have your signature witnessed and sign certificate.
• Return in envelope provided.
• By-mail ballots must be received by the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the canvass board meeting.

Absentee By-fax

• Fill out completely and return by-fax application to the City Clerk's office  Absentee Electronic Application
• By-fax applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. the day before an election.
• When you receive you ballot via fax, read instructions carefully and sign. You must have your signature witnessed and sign certificate. 
• Return by fax or mail.
• Ballots returned via fax must be received by 8:00 p.m. on election night.
• Ballots returned by mail must be received by the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the canvass board meeting.
