Our Mission

To provide care, with dignity and respect, to the vulnerable populations of Ketchikan.


Operations

The Ketchikan Fire Department Mobile Integrated Healthcare Program (MIH) operates Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.  The MIH Office is located on the 3rd floor of the Ketchikan Fire Department, Station 1 at 70 Bawden St. Ketchikan, AK 99901.

MIH provides services during prescheduled appointments with clients after receiving requests for contract from community partners such as the Fire Department, PeaceHealth Hospital, Ketchikan Indian Community, and more.  Please see our referral form below.

Examples of services we currently offer include, but are not limited to: Home Safety Checks, Wound Care/Blood Draws, Healthcare Follow-Ups, Medication Reconciliation, Fall Risk Assessments.  If there are any questions on possible services, please email us at KFDMIH@ketchikan.gov or call our line at (907) 228-2461.

MIH does not provide 911/Emergency Care.  Please call 911 for medical emergencies.  

If  you are experiencing a Mental Health Crisis, we also encourage you to call the Ketchikan Cares Crisis line (907) 225-2273 (CARE) or call/text 988 for help.  You are not alone.
