Intermediate and Advanced Northwest Coast Design

Registration Fee:  $225 / $200 if student registers 2 weeks prior to class
Prerequisite: Introduction to Northwest Coast Design

Renowned Haida artist Reg Davidson will guide students in understanding the interrelationship of foundational formline elements and how to combine them to create complex and intricate images. Students will gain experience composing original designs for their own carving, painting, and regalia projects while working on a dance apron.  This class is a requirement for those pursuing a Certificate of Merit in carving or regalia.
