NORTHWEST COAST DESIGN
Instructor: Kelly White
1:00 - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Tlingit artist Kelly White will guide students in understanding the basics of Northwest Coast design as they create a model clanhouse.  Students will learn about the structural elements and layout of traditional clanhouses, then will use formline design skills to create the totem poles, house front, interior panels, and house post designs.
