Tool Sharpening

Friday, 6 – 9 PM; Saturday, 10 AM – 4 PM
Registration Fee:  $70 / $60 if student registers 2 weeks prior to class

Learn how to properly sharpen and maintain carving tools, an essential skill for masterful carving. Local carver Woody Anderson has experience sharpening carving tools for the cleanest cut, and will teach students the methods and the supplies to best maintain their blades. Students will learn the techniques of sharpening and honing for various types of carving tools, including adzes, bent knives, and planes. This class is a core requirement for a Certificate of Merit in carving.
