Family Cedar Bark Weaving Workshop
Instructor: Debbie McLavey
November 18, 2018

Sunday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Registration Fee: $45/participant
Materials: $10 – $20 (depending on project)

* Youth weavers must enroll with an adult*

Accomplished Haida weaver and regalia maker Debbie McLavey teaches Northwest Coast art and culture to learners of all ages through KIC’s Tribal Scholars, apprenticeships, dance groups, classes and workshops. In this one day workshop for families, she will guide both youth and adult students in creating their own woven cedar bark bracelet, cuff or headband with design elements. We are very excited to offer this opportunity for families to create unique pieces to keep or gift, and make traditional art together!

This is a special program that does not count towards a Certificate of Merit.

Stop by or call the Totem Heritage Center at 225.5900 to register!
