Spring Break Cedar Bark Weaving (Youth)

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Open to students in 6th-12th grade.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS OPENS DEC. 13, 2018 @ 5:00 PM.

Registration Fee: $150/class, includes materials

Learn traditional Northwest Coast Haida-style cedar bark weaving with master weaver Holly Churchill. Students will practice the fundamentals of weaving and refine their skills as they create their own unique woven masterpieces. Students experience techniques hands-on and gain knowledge of traditional art and culture of our area’s first peoples.
