Job Description:
GENERAL LABORER for the City of Ketchikan Telecommunications division. Performs a variety of unskilled and/or semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and construction duties for assigned area within KPU. Assists journeyman in the performance of their assigned duties, and operates and maintains a variety of tools, equipment, and vehicles. One year of general maintenance, repair, and construction experience. Possession of a Class B driver’s license. Possession of a Flaggers certificate. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Forklift operator’s certificate. Regular, full-time; Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 4:30pm; Regular, full-time; $25.13 - $33.86 DOQ, plus benefits. Employment offers will be contingent on passing a pre-employment alcohol and drug-screening test. Position is open until filled; EOE/AA
