Register to Vote:

To be eligible to vote in the local municipal election, you must register with the State of Alaska Division of Elections no later than 30 days before Election Day. You can register to vote at the City Clerk's Office 334 Front Street or the Borough Clerk's Office 1900 First Avenue, or register online at: https://voterregistration.alaska.gov/ 

Voter Qualifications:

Consistent with KMC Article 10-7, a person  may vote in a City election only if the person:

• Is qualified to vote in the state elections under AS 15.05.010;
• Has been a resident of the City of Ketchikan for 30 calendar days immediately preceding the election;
• Is not disqualified to vote under Article V of the Alaska Constitution.
